dve的启动

dve has interactive mode and post-process mode:
interactive mode: start dve and control simulator (vcs) to run
1. simv -gui
2. simv -ucli
3. vcs -gui -R
4. dve -toolexe name -toolargs simulator args
post-process mode: run simulation and use dve to check waveform. or coverage
1. dve -full64 -vpd vcdplus.vpd -script. vcdplus.tcl
-full64: needed if use 64bit vcs run
-vpd: vpd file needed to be load
-script. restore the session
2. use tcl command
dve -cmd [tcl_cmd]
dve -script. [tcl_file]
dve -session [tcl_file]
Queue the license
dve +vcs+lic+wait // Infinite time
dve -licwait 20 // queues for 20 minutes if the license is not available
Use DVE to check coverage:
dve -cov
other options:
-nolog Do not generate "DVEfiles" drictory or any DVE logs
-logdir <directory> specify the directory where DVE log files should be saved
-v print version information
