针对“华为员工因间谍行为在波兰被捕”事件，华为官方在1月12日做出回应，称王伟晶因个人原因涉嫌犯罪，依据公司劳动合同相关管理规定，华为决定立刻终止与王伟晶的雇佣关系。
华为英文原文回应：
Huawei has decided to terminate the employment of Mr. Wang Weijing, who was arrested on suspicion of breaking Polish law. His alleged actions have no relation to the company. In accordance with the terms and conditions of Huawei’s labor contract, we have made this decision because the incident in question has brought Huawei into disrepute.
Huawei complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries where it operates, and we require every employee toabide by the laws and regulations in the countries where they are based.

周五，波兰突然宣布，其国家安全局逮捕了一名中国公民和一名波兰公民，指控二人从事间谍活动。
随后，据波兰媒体披露，被捕中国籍高管名叫Weijing Wu，是华为在波兰分公司负责销售的管理人员，而波兰工程师 Piotr D，曾为就职国家安全局的高官。
